Livio Bisterzo’s Journey With Life And Environmental Awareness

Movie star and environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio has recently made a small investment and stake in vegan company HIPPEAS, owned by the CEO of Green Park Brands, Livio Bisterzo. Bisterzo leads the company known for its six flavors of organic chickpea puffs. The CEO has also stated that the company is excited to work with DiCaprio and credited HIPPEAS’ growing momentum for the company’s success in the marketplace.

Bisterzo is a Los Angeles resident born in Milan to a hard working family that taught him the value of entrepreneurship. He is currently married with 3 children. Among his credentials and portfolio experience are an education at London University of the Arts with stints in businesses and products such as Little Miracles, Kyoku For Men, and Maddox Club.

In an interview with Awesome Office, Bisterzo emphasizes the personal approach he wants to use with his product and towards his consumers. In his view, it is important to build a foundation and story that the consumer can follow and relate to their own lives. Consumers are very easily able to relate to the man’s rags to riches story as he undertakes multiple business ventures after moving to the UK from Italy for university, experiencing cultural shock, and learning more about the human condition. Livio Bisterzo credits his hard experiences with making him the businessman that he is today.

His current product, HIPPEAS vegan snacks, has become a global phenomenon. He has planned to launch the snack in 18,000+ stores across the UK and US in summer 2016. With Food Navigator he talks about millenial culture, accessibility, and the boom of his snack in places like Amazon, Starbucks, and Whole Foods across the US and the UK. Their marketability appeal, their financial background, and global reach has helped them become an ideal snack for consumers to choose in the competitive snack industry. The goal of Greek Park Holdings is to provide people with nutritious food while making a change in the food and environmental industries.
